Industry Lead - Hospitality & Travel
ApplyHospitality & Travel · Remote
Sell in the industry you know, with maximum freedom and no cap on what you earn. You bring the relationships. Lykido builds the AI, does the delivery, and pays you first.
- High commission, no cap. This tier is built to out-earn the firm's owners.
- No admin. The platform handles the prep, the paperwork, and the follow-up. You sell.
- Everyone mistook the front-of-house for the whole industry. The back office that decides whether a property makes money is wide open.
The role
You bring deep relationships and hard-won credibility in hospitality and travel; the firm removes the administrative tax that has always stood between you and the work, and ranks your communications first. You find the work and close it. The platform carries the rest.
The usual charts rank industries by occupation, and they hide this one: serving a guest is hard to automate, but the business behind the guest is not. Hospitality and travel run on demand forecasting, revenue management, booking, guest operations, scheduling, and reputation - an enormous, AI-naive back office in one of the largest and lowest-adoption markets there is. The leverage gap here is wide precisely because everyone mistook the front-of-house for the whole industry.
What you will own
- Own a book across hospitality and travel - hotels, operators, management groups, and the independents who run lean: revenue management, demand forecasting, booking, guest operations, scheduling, and reputation.
- Carry the firm's leverage into the back office that decides whether a property makes money, where small teams are managing complexity by hand.
- Land a contained engagement on one revenue or operations workflow, prove it in a season, and expand across the portfolio.
- Sell the outcome, not the hours - and never on a margin a client lacks the standing to refuse.
You may be a good fit if
- You have a deep, real network in hospitality or travel and the credibility to open doors inside it.
- You have run, sold, or delivered into the industry at a senior level and know where the margin actually leaks.
- You are glad to work at a firm that gives a growing share of its profit away (About Lykido, below).
- You are fluent enough in AI to wield the firm's tooling and curious enough to push it further. You do not need to build it, but you must believe in it.
- You want to be paid for what you bring, and you would rather out-earn an owner than answer to a committee.
Compensation
Industry Lead is the firm's earning engine and is paid like one: high commission, no cap, for as long as you keep producing. For the firm's first years, and maybe longer, Industry Leads are built to out-earn the firm's Members - the owners. That is the structure. The people who bring the work are paid first and paid most.
In exchange, the firm makes one promise: it removes the administrative tax this work has always carried. Deal signals, staging, document generation, follow-up. The internal platform exists for you before it exists for anyone else, and your communications move to the front of the queue the moment they arrive.
There is a path from here to a Membership seat for a Lead who wants to help govern the firm rather than only sell into it. Many will earn more, and answer to less, by staying exactly where the commission is.
About Lykido
Lykido is an applied AI consultancy with a public-benefit commitment written into its charter. A share of net profit, starting at 5% and growing toward 50% as revenue scales, funds public-benefit work before any owner takes a distribution. That ordering is permanent. Nobody here is asked to preach; the structure does the work. Sell well, build well, and the commitment is funded by the same success that pays you.
How to apply
Please send your resume and a short note about a hospitality or travel operation you have watched leave money or guests on the table for want of better tooling. Parents returning to work after time away to raise children are encouraged to apply.
AI use, in this posting and your reply
This posting is mostly human writing, tightened with AI. We build with AI every day and expect you to, so using it in your reply is fine. Just do not send slop. Replies that read as wholly machine-written, or that skip the ask above, are discarded.
